Montebello enjoys an architectural heritage that is unique in the world. There are approximately 80 log buildings in the region, built mostly in the 1930s for the rich and and famous. 

 

Among these heritage buildings, we can find the largest log structure on the planet, known today as Fairmont Le Château Montbello.

 

Montebello has also taken upon itself the role of the log building capital of the world in order to promote and preserve the rich heritage of these exceptionnel structures.
