Did you know that ...

1. The largest log building in the world is in Montebello. It is known today as Fairmont Le Château Montebello, a five-star resort.

2. Montebello has the greatest variety of log buildings on the planet. We can find log homes, log garages, a log hotel, a log indoor swiming pool, a log curling centre, a log marina, a log chapel, a log golf club, a log chocolate factory, a log boutique, an old log fire station, log restaurants, a log staff residence, a log community hall, log gates and many outbuildings. But that's not all.

Additional log buildings are in the works, such as another log marina, a log train station, a log gas station and more log homes.

3. The Montebello region, also known as Lucerne-in-Quebec in the 1930s, includes approximately 80 log buildings.

4.The biggest log garage on the globe is in Montebello. It was designed to park 150 cars!

5. The largest indoor swiming pool in a North-American hotel is in Montebello. And it is made out of logs.
